and so much more

Music producer

After finishing the cum laude Master’s degree in music registration at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands, Jean-Pierre worked for the Dutch Public Broadcaster (NPO) Radio 4. He recorded many different performances in all the greatest concert halls in the Netherlands. He recorded all possible settings. From music originated from the 12th century to contemporary music. He used to make 150-200 recordings per year.

Furthermore, he recorded multiple, award-winning CD’s for different labels, orchestras and ensembles. The goal is always the same; to show the vision of the musician to the audience.

He developed new techniques for creating surround sound recordings.

He has also been connected to the Royal Conservatory and Sound Seminar as a (guest)teacher.

Jean-Pierre is involved in Music Education Wijdemeren and teaches grades 5 and 6 at primary schools. A first introduction to music and a musical instrument. He teaches trumpet and piano. He teaches trumpet at Globe Center for Art and Culture in Hilversum.

Radio Producer

He was a radio producer for the Dutch Public Radio 4. Making sure that the rich Dutch music scene was presented at the highest possible level to the listeners.

Not only in the Amsterdam, but throughout the whole country. Concerts of festivals, soloists, chamber music, ensembles, choirs and orchestras. Preferably live on Radio 4. This all had to be organized in a most efficient way to make sure the tax money is used most effectively.

Jean-Pierre also did a course in Advanced Acoustics in Antwerp, Belgium, multiple training sessions at the Media-Academy and the Bachelor Electronics at Rens & Rens in Hilversum, the Netherlands.

He designed and build multiple recording studio’s.

Jean-Pierre was a member of the Committee ‘Music and Musical Theater’ of the Amsterdam Art Counsel.
